Privacy Policy

This policy covers the AWE Industries website and the All-Timers game (web, iOS, and Android). AWE Industries is an independent game studio. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean AWE Industries.

1. Information we collect

We try to collect only what the game needs to work.

Information you give us

Account details. If you create an account, we store an email address (or the identifier from a sign-in provider such as Sign in with Apple or Google) and a display name you choose.
Messages you send us. If you email support, we keep that correspondence to help you.

Information collected as you play

Gameplay data. Your drafts, results, scores, streaks, leaderboard standing, and challenges with friends.
Device & technical data. Device type, operating system version, app version, and basic diagnostic or crash information used to keep the game running.
Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless tool, to understand aggregate traffic, such as page views, the referring site, general location at the country level, and the type of device or browser. It does not use tracking cookies and is not tied to your identity.
Cookies and local storage. We store a small amount of data on your device, such as a login session token and your preferences, so the game can keep you signed in and remember your settings. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Push notifications (optional). If you turn on notifications, for example league reminders, we store a push subscription for your device so we can send them. You can turn notifications off any time in your device or browser settings.

2. How we use your information

To run the game: save progress, verify scores, power leaderboards, and enable friend challenges.
To maintain accounts and let you sign in across devices.
To send notifications you have turned on, such as league or challenge reminders.
To diagnose problems, fix bugs, and improve gameplay.
To respond to your support requests.
To protect against fraud, abuse, and cheating.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising profiles.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

4. How your information is shared

We share information only in these limited cases:

Service providers. We use a small set of trusted vendors that process data only on our behalf:
- Supabase — accounts, authentication, and database
- Vercel — website and app hosting, and privacy-friendly analytics
- Google Firebase — delivery of push notifications
Sign-in providers. If you sign in with Apple or Google, that provider authenticates you and shares a basic account identifier with us. We do not post anything to those accounts.
Other players. Your display name and applicable scores are visible on leaderboards and in challenges you take part in. Choose a display name accordingly.
Legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our players or the studio.
Business transfers. If the studio or game is acquired, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

5. Your choices and rights

Access and deletion. You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (profile settings → Delete Account), or by emailing us.
Correction. You can update your display name in the app.
Notifications. Turn push notifications on or off any time in your device or browser settings.
Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, under GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your information. Contact us to exercise them.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the game. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. International users

We operate from the United States. If you use the game from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the game evolves. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated in the app where appropriate.
